Register now for 5K for K9s!
Join us VIRTUALLY for our 13th annual 5K for K9s that is just two weeks away. We’re so excited and have many great raffles and auctions ready for you. We’re sharing a few of them with you now. The first batch of 5K for K9s t-shirts are winging their way to Ohio right now. This year’s shirts commemorate walking virtually with your family and friends—both 2-legged and 4-legged!
The summer flew by and now it’s time to help us save some great shelter dogs by walking or running with your two- and four-legged friends. While we’re going to once again miss seeing you in person at beautiful Alum Creek State Park, we’re grateful that we’re able to host a fun virtual event to help save the sick and injured shelter dogs like Jersey, Jarvis, and Haley.

Happy tails from Corrina Lou!
We just love getting updates on our Friends of the Shelter pups. Corrina Lou was helped by Friends of the Shelter four years ago when she arrived at the shelter with heartworm disease. Her awesome dads fostered her through her painful treatment for the disease. She made it successfully through the treatment, and then her dads adopted her. Last year, Corrina Lou got an adopted sister, Blossom, and we were so happy to hear that they’re getting along wonderfully! Check out this adorable video of them playing!
Thank you for helping Friends of the Shelter give dogs like Corrina Lou a second chance to be in a loving home!
